Remembering the leaders in the Civil Rights Movement on MLK Day 2019.  Faith, hope, and love are still with us.

For this illustration, I didn’t go for the high contrast in shadow and high light that I normally apply. Having the complexity and richness of texture and tone seemed more important to this piece. I was so happy to create more texture-driven piece! Oil pastel is still my first love for sure.
